• Advanced training in interior design, interior management, art & design, or similar

• Several years of experience working with retail design or home furnishing solutions

• Strong leadership experience, with a genuine interest in developing people

• Solid project management skills and experience working cross-functionally

• A shared belief in IKEA values and a passion for creating a better everyday life for the many people

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Shop Design Manager at IKEA, you’ll work closely with markets and colleagues across functions to shape inspiring, relevant, and commercial retail experiences.

• Design retail spaces and home furnishing solutions based on customer journeys and commercial priorities

• Create visually engaging shop experiences that inspire discovery, solutions, and purchase

• Lead, coach, and develop Shop Design Specialists to strengthen IKEA’s unique identity

• Support presentation solutions reflecting different styles, price levels, and seasonal relevance

• Use global tools and best practices while adapting solutions to local market needs

• Collaborate with market-based teams to ensure strong local relevance

• Contribute to learning content and knowledge sharing across IKEA

This is a short-term temporary assignment, and the role is based in Malmö, Sweden.
