Junior Biotechnology Engineer

About the positions

The positions involve performing fermentation experiments, supervising equipment, basic analysis and other work associated with the daily work we perform.

The positions may require occasional shift work (eg. evenings, night or weekends).

Your responsibilities will be:

· Performing laboratory and upscaling fermentation, downstream processing and analysis based on written and oral instructions from senior collegues

· Prepare experiments and production runs

· Monitor fermentation processes and make necessary adjustments

· Documentation of experiments and production

· We are looking for an ambitious individual with a BSc or MSc in Biochemical engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field.

· You have a willingness to join a quickly expanding team on our journey from a small R&D company to a global leader within the bio-based economy.

No prior industry experience is necessary. We are more interested in the candidate’s willingness and interest in joining a quickly expanding team on our journey from small start-up to a global leader within the biobased economy.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
