Lead Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Technician who will be working with our Hypercar production. Main focus will be to coordinate and lead a team of technicians to deliver vehicle builds or projects on time and to Zenvo quality standards, while acting as the technical go-to on the shop floor.

This role is suited to passionate individuals with an uncompromising eye for detail and a deep respect for precision engineering and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily work for the technician team in line with build plan and priorities.
• Act as technical reference point, supporting troubleshooting and complex tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, safety rules and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against plan, identify bottlenecks and escalate risks.
• Perform hands-on work on vehicles or assemblies when required.
• Support onboarding and training of new technicians.
• Provide feedback to Production Management and Engineering on issues and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of processes and documentation

Qualifications

• Vocational education in automotive/mechatronics or similar.
• Several years of relevant technician experience, ideally in high-performance or low-volume automotive.
• Previous experience in coordination, mentoring or team lead roles is an advantage.
• Strong technical competence with broad vehicle/system understanding.
• Leadership on the shop floor: clear, fair, supportive.
• Good planning, prioritization and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and solution-oriented.
• High level of ownership for safety, quality and delivery.
