Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Application Security Architect

What You Will Work On

• Lead and enhance application security architecture across multiple platforms and systems
• Provide guidance on secure design, threat modeling, and risk assessment
• Embed security practices into the SDLC within Agile and DevOps environments
• Evaluate new technologies and identify potential security risks
• Define and enforce secure coding and architecture standards
• Support implementation of DevSecOps practices and security automation in CI/CD pipelines
• Secure microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive security initiatives
• Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling sessions
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations when required
• Mentor developers and security engineers on best practices

What You Bring

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in application security, software engineering, or related fields
• Strong expertise in secure software design, threat modeling, and risk assessment
• Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques
• Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and APIs
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security integration
• Familiarity with secure coding practices across languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning)
• Strong system design and architectural skills with a security-first approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven ability to mentor and guide teams
