Senior Java Backend Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our consulting company and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise software solutions. The role involves developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and integration services while collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and REST APIs.
• Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Develop and maintain Kafka-based integrations and event-driven solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Participate in modernization of legacy systems and migration to modern architectures.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Avro, and Schema Registry.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and SQL optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2/OIDC, and Keycloak is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
