Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to support research and development initiatives. This role focuses on the design, development, and validation of mechanical components, with a primary emphasis on plastic parts manufactured through injection molding for a new IO system.

You will be part of a high-performing engineering team working toward clearly defined project goals. The assignment requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate mechanical designs, primarily involving plastic components
• Optimize and refine designs related to injection-molded parts
• Coordinate and lead technical activities within project scope
• Conduct engineering analyses, simulations, and technical assessments
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement of engineering processes and design methodologies
• Provide technical guidance and expert input on complex engineering challenges

Required Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
• Experience in a senior or leadership capacity is highly desirable

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Alternatively, relevant technical education combined with 15+ years of industry experience
