Software Security Specialist

Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced Software Security Specialist to support secure software development within an advanced Intelligent Manufacturing IT environment. This role focuses on strengthening product cybersecurity practices while ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks.

The selected candidate will take a leading role in establishing and enhancing a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL), ensuring alignment with standards such as IEC 62443-4-1 and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Responsibilities include conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and driving remediation efforts to improve product security maturity.

The role involves close collaboration with development teams to promote secure coding practices, implement security tools, and support the delivery of robust and resilient software solutions. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to building a unified product security framework, provide insights to senior stakeholders including CISO-level leadership, and stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and regulations.

Experience Required:

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in software security, cybersecurity, or related domains

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL/SSDLC)
• Experience with IEC 62443-4-1, IEC 62443-4-2, and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
• Knowledge of product cybersecurity and secure coding practices
• Experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with agile development environments
• Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills
• Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution

Language Requirement:

English – Proficient (Mandatory)

Swedish – Proficient (Preferred)
