Husqvarna Construction is a world leader in machinery and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries. Behind every product is a team developing sophisticated drive systems – power electronics, hard real-time software, machine behaviour, diagnostics, connectivity, and user interfaces. We are now looking for a Software Team Lead to take ownership of our embedded applications team and help shape what comes next.

About the roleYou will lead a skilled, autonomous team through the full product lifecycle – from early concepts to new builds and continuous improvement. The team is responsible for applications across the full stack – from embedded software running directly on the machine to cloud-based services. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will write code, set technical direction, and make sure the team has what it needs to deliver. Concretely, you will:

• Own the software delivery and maintain a technical roadmap that the team actually follows
• Coach and develop team members, and create the conditions for high-quality work
• Collaborate closely with product owners, hardware engineers, production, and sourcing
• Spot and resolve problems early – whether technical, process-related, or interpersonal

Profile and experience

To be successful in this role you need to have

• A degree in software, electronics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in product-oriented software development, ideally using C/C++, Python and Java/TypeScript
• Experience in leading teams in agile environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across diverse technical disciplines
• Fluency in English, and preferably Swedish

It is also important that you can explain complex technical problems clearly, you build trust naturally, and you care about getting things right.
