Team Manager – Information Architecture, Lund

Help us maintain the information backbone of Axis. Axis is entering a new phase of enterprise data maturity, and we are looking for a senior leader to head our newly formed Enterprise Information Architecture function in Lund. This is a role where you will not be inheriting an established organization with fixed processes – you will be building one that we will rely on for years to come.

Why now?
Axis is growing fast, and our data landscape is growing with it: more systems, more markets, and more AI-driven use cases competing for the same information. We have a solid technical foundation, including an ISO 27001-certified information security management system, and we are now ready to build the next layer.

Who is your future team?
You will join a senior team skilled in information architecture and information security, responsible for areas such as our ISO 27001 certification. Together, you form Axis’s function for enterprise information architecture, helping us safeguard and enable our information foundation across the company – through both people and systems, AI included.

You will work closely with departments, data owners and architects across all business areas, and with senior stakeholders who need a clear, trustworthy picture of the company’s information landscape.

What you’ll do here as Team manager – Information Architecture
You will lead a team working with information architecture and information security. Together with leadership and experts, you will set the roadmap and the direction. As this is a new role, you will not only lead the work – you will shape how it is done. What you build here will underpin how Axis makes decisions, protects its information, and puts AI to work for years to come.

In this role, you will:

• Nurture a culture of openness, trust, freedom, responsibility, quality and pride in what we do and how we act
• Grow your team’s competence and capability, always ensuring people have real opportunities to develop their skills, experience and careers
• Collaborate with architects, managers, product owners and other senior colleagues on priorities, expectations and requirements
• Engage with the leadership team to set and execute the strategic direction of the department
• Take responsibility for the roadmap and the requirements connected with information architecture
• Create clarity for your team in an ever-evolving environment

Who are you?
You lead from a people perspective – coaching, giving feedback, identifying development needs and following up. You see the power of a team where people bring different perspectives and experiences.

As a manager for a newly formed unit, you are comfortable when things are not yet fully defined, and you have a talent for turning organizational ambiguity into a clear, sequenced plan. The role is highly collaborative, so you communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders – communication that works in both directions: technical depth with architects, clarity with executive leadership. You actively contribute to a good team spirit.

You are forward-leaning when it comes to AI and new technologies, and you look forward to building for the future.

We’d love to hear that you have:

• Experience of leading people
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of information architecture, and the ability to explain the importance of topics like data governance to stakeholders without losing them in jargon
• Professional working proficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience of building or scaling information governance functions, ideally in a global enterprise
• Working knowledge of data ownership models, classification and sensitivity frameworks, and enterprise architecture principles
• Experience of driving cross-functional initiatives in global, multi-site organizations, and of building consensus across business areas that do not report to you
• A strong grasp of how AI is changing requirements on data structure, access, and trust
