About the Assignment

We are looking for a Test Engineer within Wireless Connectivity to join a connectivity test team working with autonomous lawn care technology. In this role, you will perform hands-on gray-box testing of connectivity modules at module, integration, and system level to ensure stable and seamless connected user experiences.

You will work closely with both hardware and software, validate wireless protocols, troubleshoot integration issues, and help ensure connectivity remains stable and performant through ongoing software updates. The work includes collaboration with developers and stakeholders to prioritize issues, develop new tests, and continuously improve test coverage and quality.

Job Description

  • Test Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, radio and cellular modules across environments and hardware board variants
  • Verify backend and API connectivity flows
  • Design, build, run and maintain automated regression tests for connectivity modules, including adding cases to CI and nightly rigs
  • Analyze logs and network traces to isolate issues to module, board, system or backend level
  • Convert repetitive manual checks into scripts to increase automation and efficiency
  • Contribute to test plans, traceability, coverage and release notes
  • Support short, focused field challenge sessions to identify new edge cases
  • Publish dashboards for pass/fail results, coverage and test flakiness

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience testing wireless connectivity and backend/API flows
  • ISTQB knowledge or equivalent testing competence
  • Hands-on experience with sniffers/protocol analyzers and log/packet analysis
  • Automation scripting experience in Python
  • Experience working with CI (Jenkins/DevOps)
  • Comfortable working with gray-box testing
  • Valid driver’s license (field testing may be required)

Application

Selections are made on an ongoing basis, so we recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
