About the role:

In this role, you will be employed as a consultant at Mpya Sci & Tech. We work with customers across industries from Medtech and Automotive to Industrial Tech, scaleups and startups. Our customers are data-driven and rely on solid data infrastructure to power everything from machine learning pipelines and IoT analytics to real-time decision systems.

Your responsibilities may include:

– Designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure

– Working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or Azure Data Factory

– Data transformation and modelling using dbt

– Ensuring data quality, governance and documentation

– Collaborating closely with data scientists and ML teams to serve and prepare data

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

To thrive in this role, you should bring a mix of the following skills:

– 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role

– Strong skills in Python and SQL

– Experience with modern data platforms – Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or similar

– Solid understanding of cloud environments, particularly Azure or AWS

– Team-oriented with a passion for innovation in a fast-paced environment

– Fluent English is required – Swedish is a strong plus

It’s a bonus if you have experience with:

– Orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect

– Real-time data and streaming (Kafka, Azure Event Hub)

– dbt for data transformation

– ML pipelines or MLOps

– Industrial data, IoT or Medtech environments

– Spark or large-scale distributed data processing
