Full Stack Developer Business Intelligence

Job Description

The client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer specializing in Business Intelligence to join its BI team. The consultant will contribute to the development, administration, enhancement, and support of enterprise BI solutions while ensuring the availability of reliable and high-quality business data for operational and strategic decision-making.

The role involves working across the full BI stack, including data integration, data modeling, reporting, dashboard development, administration, and technical support. In addition to core BI responsibilities, the consultant may be assigned related tasks based on business requirements.

The assignment also includes producing technical documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer activities, and supporting the client’s internal teams throughout the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and analytical dashboards using Power BI.
• Build, optimize, and administer multidimensional and tabular data models within SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular).
• Develop, monitor, and maintain ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support efficient data integration processes.
• Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation related to delivered BI solutions and system administration activities.
• Support business operations and BI stakeholders by ensuring data quality, accessibility, and consistency across reporting environments.
• Collaborate closely with the BI team to improve reporting capabilities, data structures, and overall solution performance.
• Serve as a technical specialist in the ongoing management, enhancement, and support of the client’s Business Intelligence platform.
• Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable and accurate reporting outputs.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and transfer expertise to designated personnel within the client’s organization.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in Business Intelligence Architecture.
• Proven expertise in Data Warehouse (DW) design and development.
• Hands-on experience developing front-end Business Intelligence applications and reporting solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Experience working within complex data environments and enterprise reporting ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Microsoft BI architecture, particularly SSAS Tabular environments.
• Strong technical expertise in Data Warehouse development, SSIS, SQL Server, and SSAS technologies.
• Experience administering and supporting Power BI Report Server environments.
• Previous experience working with the client’s organizational structure and data landscape within the last five years.
• Familiarity with large-scale Business Intelligence governance and operational support processes.

Experience Required

Senior-Level Professional with proven experience in Business Intelligence development, data warehousing, and Microsoft BI technologies.

Educational Qualification

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.

Language Requirement

Proficient Swedish communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
