The Role

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong knowledge of data modeling (dimensional modeling, star schemas, partitioning, and clustering)
• Hands-on experience with either:
• Microsoft Azure (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI), or
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and CI/CD)
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and modern data platform architectures
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and optimizing high-volume data processing (including tables containing billions or trillions of rows) is highly valued
• Familiarity with metadata management, performance tuning, and cost optimization is an advantage
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in agile teams
• Excellent communication skills in English and/or Swedish

For this role, we are looking for someone based in Skåne, as many of our clients and projects are located in the region.
